Our annual club picnic was a blast! We were thrilled to welcome members and guests for a day full of camaraderie, shooting sports, and delicious food.
Event Highlights:
• The Swap Meet was bustling with activity on the rimfire range, where members exchanged gear and stories. It was fantastic to see everyone finding treasures and making deals.
• The Free Taco Bar was a hit! Served from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the tacos were a perfect midday treat for everyone, thanks to the incredible team that kept the grills going.
• The Trap Range was open for free shooting from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Members enjoyed honing their skills with some impressive rounds.
• Our Steel Challenge Stage in Bay 6 was buzzing with energy as shooters took on the course.
• The Spinner Challenge in Bay 7, set up by the NightMatch team, was another favorite.Shooters were challenged to knock the spinner targets, and the competition was fierce but friendly.
The event’s shooting activities were all well-attended, with
pistol-caliber firearms and shotguns taking center stage on the
tactical ranges. Many participants mentioned how much fun
they had, with several already looking forward to the next club event.
I thought the club picnic was a nice way for club members to relax and enjoy some conversation and meet other members, great tacos! (Minus the West End Bee’s!) I too tried the steel challenge with Scott and enjoyed that. The swap meet is always a very nice part of the picnic.
The picnic was GREAT! The tacos were amazing, but where was the guac?? I really loved trying to shoot steel challenge with Scott. Meeting other shooters is always a good thing. The weather was perfect, the .22 range was the perfect spot to hang out and enjoy the food and get some great deals at the swap meet. When is the Christmas party??? Thanks everyone who worked so hard to get it done, it was a wonderful day all around.
