June 2020 NRL22 Match
« on: June 14, 2020, 08:32:29 PM »
The NRL22 will take place on June 28 (4th Sunday). Please be aware that due to club guidance, several restrictions will be enforced with regards to match logistics. We ask that you respect these guidelines as they are to maintain safety as it relates to COVID-19 and to mitigate the threat of coronavirus transmission.

If you do not wish to comply with these restrictions, we politely ask you not to register for this event until which time the match restrictions (all or in part) are lifted.

Thank you.

Registration opens on 06/15 @ 1200 PDT. Registration closes on 06/27 @ 1800 PDT.

[NOTE: Rules and restrictions may be altered, modified, or otherwise enhanced as necessary. Registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible with any changes.]

While this match has been approved to resume at the West End Gun Club facility, we must enforce COVID-19 specific guidelines to mitigate threat of infection. While we encourage guests and observers, the sharing of equipment to help new shooters and a more personable environment, we will be enforcing some rules that counter those ideals.

This match enacts the following:

First and foremost, if you suspect that you are ill, DO NOT attend the match.

Face coverings (e.g. mask, bandanna, balaclava, neck-gaiter) are required and will be worn at all times, except when live firing a stage in the course of fire. Participants are encouraged to maintain the face covering while firing a stage whenever possible.

Partcipants must be cognizant of others and maintain the 6-foot social distancing guideline.

Gloves are highly encouraged, but not required.

No walk-in registrations or cash transactions. All registrations and fees must be conducted on Practiscore prior to the match day.

Hardcopy waivers will not be processed on match day. Registrants who have not filled out a WEGC waiver for the 2020 calendar year should fill out the waiver online prior to match day at

Participants (or same household members) should handle their only own equipment (e.g. rifle, ammo, magazines, bags, etc.) and refrain from sharing equipment whenever possible (e.g. bags).

This match will be capped. If you are not pre-registered via Practiscore and did not receive an approval and squad assignment, DO NOT come to the venue on match day. There will be no walk ons. We must minimize the number of people at the venue due to the logistics of the .22LR rimfire range.

Refrain from bringing non-shooting guests to the match. We must minimize the number of people at the venue due to the logistics of the .22LR rimfire range.

All participants will be assigned to a squad and each squad will shoot concurrently, but only the shooter, the scorer, and the spotter(s) will be at that stage of fire. All other persons on the given squads must be off the firing line and preferably near, at, or in their vehicles until called (on-deck, etc).

Non-compliance with the guidance as described may result in disqualification from the match and removal from the club/range property.

When: Sunday, June 28. Check in begins no later than 0730.
Where: West End Gun Club rimfire range. Non-WEGC members will check in with the Range Officer's office at the public range and indicate visiting to participate in the NRL22 match at the rimfire range. Please watch your speed your entire time as you drive through the range for safety and dust control (5 mph on WEGC range property).
Who: Any .22LR precision rifle (or airgun) competitor. NRL22 membership not required, but is always encouraged. Only .22LR or airgun allowed per match rules and range restrictions.
What: The cost will be $20 per adult competitor and $5 per Young Gun (Junior). The official round count for the NRL22 June 2020 Course of Fire - - is fifty (50) rounds. Add additional rounds for pre-match zeroing if applicable.
