This is a satellite view of the stream crossing. This is the bumpy part of the ride. The road is filled with small stones making a macadam type of surface. Just cross it slowly and you should have no more problems than going over a speed bump.
West End Gun Club is accessed by way of Meyers Canyon Road. This is a dirt fire road which crosses a seasonal stream bed. During the rainy season crossing can be a bit of an adventure. This is a trip of approximately one mile.
If we are experiencing any problem with the road we post it on the home page of this website. You may also get conditions by calling our Range Report number 909-921-3359 for a recorded message.
Let’s get into the range…
Please note this video is shown at an accelerated speed. The speed limit on the road in is 15 MPH.
West End Gun Club (WEGC) is a private, member run club at the edge of the San Bernardino National Forest. We are very proud of our range and would like to provide you with this tour. Sign-up and come shoot in one of our matches (open to the public) or explore becoming a member.
West End has a fantastic main range. Sturdy shooting benches make it easy to get that new scope zeroed. We offer a limited membership that give you access to the main range, on weekends, when range staff is on duty. This allows you to work on your shooting skills while getting to know us. The main range is where our limited members start their journey to full membership. Sign up for matches, meet the members, then put in your application for a full membership. All full member applicants are required to have 3 members sign their application. A limited membership allows you to meet members and get the required signatures.
One of our great features for members with young shooters is our dedicated rimfire range. This range is limited to .22 rimfire only. No magnums or 17’s. This gives our members a great range to introduce new shooters to the sport. We also use it for our Juniors program.
We also have some great rimfire competitions also. NRA rimfire silhouette and NRL22 make WEGC the place for rimfire shooters.
This range is covered and has portable shooting benches. It is shaded by several nice trees and has picnic benches making it a great place for members to take their families for a great day of rim-fire shooting
Here at West End Gun Club we have something for almost every shooter. We, of course, have our 100 yard main range. The heart of the range is used for shooting bays. These bays allow WEGC shooters to draw from holster and practice for our matches.
We have numerous shooting bays of different length and width. These are used for some of our many competitions. We host competitions for all kinds of shooters. At WEGC, you can be a cowboy and shoot in our CAS events or try one of our other action matches.
Nothing tests a rifleman’s skill like long range shooting! We have several long range competitions at WEGC. Our long range area allows us to shoot at 500 yards. This distance is for competition only. Due to the layout of the range. the maximum distance is limited to 325 yards when no range safety officer is on duty.
We don’t forget the shotgun folks. We have a great Trap/Skeet range also. Grab a couple of your friends and come and shoot a round of clays. Get tuned up for hunting. This area is also open to limited members on weekends. Check the club calendar for shooting schedule.
