With the passage of SB2, new requirements are being imposed on CCW applications and renewals.
The new law increased the training class requirements to 16 hours for new applicants and 8 hours for renewal applicants.
In order to allow WEGC members and our friends in the community to meet these requirements, WEGC has partnered with CA Outdoors to provide this training.
Classroom Sessions
Applicants are required to complete classroom training. Renewal applicants are required to complete 6 hours of training, New applicants are required to complete 12 hours of training.

Range Qualification
Range sessions will be held at the WEGC main range as scheduled by the trainer. For location and directions to the range please see our range page on the WEGC website.
Training Fees
Current renewal training – 8 hours: $190
Current initial training – 16 hours: $295
Range fees-$25
A discount will be applied to WEGC members showing a current membership card.
